New digital updates - June 2026

We’re rolling out a series of new digital enhancements across the Alphega platform, all designed to help you run your pharmacy more efficiently, stay compliant, and keep your team connected. These updates bring improvements to SOP Manager, Team Manager, mobile access, training, and customer insight — creating a more seamless, integrated digital experience for you and your team.

SOP Manager: More Control, Better Compliance

We’ve introduced a more structured and intuitive approach to managing your SOPs, helping ensure your pharmacy always works from the most up-to-date and compliant processes.

A new Review section clearly highlights SOPs that require attention, making it easy to prioritise and complete reviews. You’ll now also be prompted to review SOPs before assigning them, reducing the risk of outdated procedures being used. 

In addition, improved notifications will alert you when central SOPs have been updated, while a new dashboard provides insight into SOP usage, activity, and engagement across your team. 

You also have more flexibility when reviewing SOPs — whether confirming and reassigning quickly or creating a tailored version for your pharmacy.

Team Manager: Smarter Planning for Your Pharmacy Team

The enhanced Alphega Team Manager introduces a more powerful and user-friendly way to manage rotas, holidays, and team hours in one place.

You can now build and manage rotas, with improved visibility of who is working and when. A new QR code clock-in feature allows team members to log their hours quickly and accurately using the Member App. 

Holiday booking has also been made more flexible, with options to request time off in hours or days, supported by a clearer approval process and smarter notifications. 

Enhanced reporting and calendar integrations (including Google and Outlook) give you better oversight and help reduce admin time, so you can focus on running your pharmacy.

Alphega Tablet App Update: More Secure, More Connected

A new version of the Alphega Member App is being rolled out, introducing a more secure and streamlined way to access your digital tools.

You’ll now log in using your email address, supported by a verification code sent to your inbox. This replaces the previous account number login and aligns access with the Alliance Healthcare Portal, strengthening security across the platform. 

This update also enhances your access to key Alphega tools including SOP Manager, MHRA Manager and the Alphega Academy — while improving communication through features such as push notifications and in-app messaging.

Alphega Academy: Training Anywhere, Anytime

Alphega Academy is now fully accessible through the Alphega Member App, making it easier than ever for you and your team to stay up to date with training.

Previously only available via a browser, Academy can now be accessed directly from mobile devices — allowing training to be completed wherever and whenever it suits your team. 

By bringing training into the app alongside your other tools, this update creates a more connected digital experience and helps drive improved engagement across your pharmacy team. 

COMING SOON - Customer Feedback: Simpler Access with Single Sign-On

We’re introducing Single Sign-On (SSO) to make it quicker and easier to access your customer feedback platform.

Currently, accessing your Serve First dashboard requires a separate login. With SSO, you’ll soon be able to move directly from the Member Hub into your feedback data — without needing to log in again. 

This means faster access to insights, easier navigation between tools, and more time to focus on taking action — including using AI-driven features to support service improvements.
