Data Security and Protection Toolkit (England)

Data Security and Protection Toolkit 2026

The Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) is now open for 2026, and all community pharmacy owners are required to complete it as part of their NHS contractual obligations.

The toolkit consists of a total of 76 questions, only 45 are mandatory (you do not have to complete the 31 optional questions). The questions are aligned with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and the Ten Data Security Standards produced by the National Data Guardian. 

The deadline for completion is 30 June 2026.
